Yes, they still block blue light. BUT, this is not the product we bought on TV in the 1990s. When you put on these original glasses, the whole world seems to "flash". it was a real experience. Obviously not the quality of the originals. Still a decent pair of sunnies, but be aware - the company doesn't repair or offer replacements (direct offer from customer service). So if you damage the very end of the shackle like I did then be prepared to do the repair yourself or throw the whole set in the trash and order a new one.
