I bought two pairs of these glasses for my husband and I to wear indoors at night hoping the blue light blocking would help us to sleep better. We have both struggled with insomnia for many years. My husband took prescription medication to help him sleep, and I regularly took over-the-counter sleeping pills. We are so impressed with how much these glasses have helped us! We wear them about 60-90 minutes before bed and no longer have to take drugs to help us fall asleep. I can not live without…

Protects without compromising vision

This is my second pair of these glasses. I wear them when I play golf and don't have to take them off when I hit the ball like many golfers do with sunglasses that obscure their vision. Also great for driving. My first pair wore hard for 18 months.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Excellent glasses. Not such a great price.

In the early 90's I had a pair of blue blockers and swore by them. They cost the same as other glasses so I thought why not and went back and bought a few more pairs which lasted for years. It's not at all. The quality of the lenses is the same in terms of clarity. The amber tone doesn't bother me, so I called them orange glasses. I have HD goggles and when I compare them to each other the HD goggles win due to the lack of amber tint and the price. However, these blue bollards look better when…

Not the same as the 1990 version

Yes, they still block blue light. BUT, this is not the product we bought on TV in the 1990s. When you put on these original glasses, the whole world seems to "flash". it was a real experience. The sunglasses currently on sale seem pretty boring - definitely not the original Blu-blocker experience. They're okay (they'd be even better if they were polarized), but not sure if they're really worth the price. The "Tac Glasses" and "Combat Vision" sunglasses that are on TV now are much more…

Great Features - Sunglasses

Blocks UV Rays. They block blue light. They block glare. What more could you want from a pair of sunglasses? I drive for hours every day and these are always my go-to sunglasses. Incidentally, many glasses claim to block blue light and only block a percentage. They have their uses (night driving, computer glasses, etc.) but they block blue light! The blue digital display is completely invisible on them, but most colors are still visible. Green lights stay green, red lights stay red. White looks

Not bad sunglasses, but the company doesn't repair or replace any parts.

Obviously not the quality of the originals. Still a decent pair of sunnies, but be aware - the company doesn't repair or offer replacements (direct offer from customer service). So if you damage the very end of the shackle like I did then be prepared to do the repair yourself or throw the whole set in the trash and order a new one. It's very sad how everything is becoming disposable, I'd rather have it repaired with parts replacement.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Neutral

Best sunglasses for cycling and running

These are my favorite sunglasses but over time they have become more expensive and offer less content. A few years ago I bought a set consisting of a frame set with four extra lenses and a carrying case for less than a pair with a set of lenses now. I still have some lenses from the original set and am using them on the new pair of sunglasses I just bought. I wish the frame used stronger plastic. After a few years, they tend to break down.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I will add later

They help with bright sun

They "really block the blue". I give 4 stars because the optics are not very pleasant: you can see through cheap yellow plastic. Without the "Blue Block" feature, these glasses appear to cost under $10. However, after a week of wearing in July under the Florida sun, the eyes tire a lot less: they really relieve the eyes from the bright sun. Note that the driving cues are different: green lights are hard to see, and the overall driving experience is different: it's hard to describe, but you're…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
