OGGI Jumbo Cocktail Shaker 60 oz - Stainless Steel Construction, 🍸 Built-in Strainer - Perfect Large Cocktail Shaker for Parties, Mixes 12 Martinis Review

I like the big size of this one, but it's impossible to remove the lid (strainer) after shaking the drink. If anyone has tips on how to remove the lid without hitting it or spilling the contents please let me know as I threw the box away and cannot return it. At the moment it's useless to me if I can't separate the two parts. I'm so pissed! I cannot recommend it to anyone because of this lack.

I've had one of these shakers for years and never had a problem, love them. So, I recently bought 2 as gifts for friends and am very embarrassed after both of my friends said the shaker leaked all over the counter and made a huge bed. I'm not sure what makes Oggi different in their design, but it's not good. I wanted to buy more as gifts for other friends but probably won't after the problem with the other two

Three piece set: shaker, strainer and lid. Stainless steel and easy to get in the cleaning. I love the size of this item; You can easily make four full margaritas/martinis - maybe more if you use less ice. The downside is that it leaks most of the time I use it. I need to connect the shaker and strainer in the right place so it doesn't leak. Unfortunately, I don't know where that point is until I start pouring. Advantages: - large capacity - the lid is tight.

Based on other reviews I wasn't expecting this to work but it works great. I took it out of the box, filled it with water, shook it, no leakage. I added ice, shook it a little more, no leaks. Working capacity is about six cups - seven cups is the max and there's no room to shake. The biggest downside is that the lid doesn't come off easily. I haven't used it much yet, but it seems easier when there's ice in the shaker. You'll probably have to fight it and it'll probably cause a bit of a mess…

I found that while the Oggi Jumbo Party Cocktail Shaker closed properly when shaken, it was difficult to get the entire shaker to open cannot be covered after use, making it unusable for drinks when you need ice and other shaker contents in glasses.
