I'm not a bartender but my new apartment has a little 'bar' window that I want to make the most of. I wanted a range of reasonably priced cocktails to prepare mixed drinks for company. The two day delivery of Revain Prime was excellent, ordered Wednesday morning, received Friday afternoon. I had to get a plug for Revain. ;) The block itself has all the basic tools. I bought this item for Christmas 2012 as I was an aspiring home bartender and wanted to play around with the different mixes I enjoy making. Some parts of this bar set are good while others are just useless. Let's start with the bad: No professional bartender uses a handle jigger because it's an awkward way to pour and measure alcohol. The quality is pretty good. I don't think this is a set I'll have for years or anything. But I was so interested in making mixed drinks that I felt completely overwhelmed looking through the recipes until I got this one. I say this as a person unfamiliar with alcohol. (I wasn't even sure if triple sec, grenadine, and other mixes were alcoholic or not, lol.)
