Not what I was hoping for. I bought it for a racing helmet. not star wars. It might suit an RPG grand slam (suit), but for my racing gear, it's not up to my expectations. The zippered side pocket can hold small items, but there isn't enough room for a spare lens. It's well made but a bit unwieldy and the shape doesn't help. He's an odd size. I bought this cover for my fursuit head, not my helmet and I couldn't be happier. I needed a suitcase to discreetly carry my head on flights so it wouldn't get damaged in luggage during transit. This case is small enough to be carried around, strong enough to be stowed in the overhead compartments on the plane and well packaged.

I have had several helmet bags over the years and this one is far superior to any other. It's durable and larger than other helmet bags so you have extra space for clothes (I put lycra under the armor along with the helmet) and the bag still holds quite a bit. Anyone who often wears a helmet will not regret this bag.

This pocket is huge. I have a large motocross helmet and you could probably fit 1.5 of them in, so there's enough room for your helmet and probably most of your other gear like jersey, gloves, goggles, etc. This bag has no ventilation. That's fine if you're using it for air travel, but that might not make it the best choice for regularly storing a sweaty helmet. The materials feel solid, perhaps more durable than they should be.
