does what i thought

I bought this to copy patterns and label fabrics based on the pattern and it does both. Although the small spikes are very sharp, be careful.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Fits my purpose well

I didn't buy this to sew but it's great for punching small holes. Some reviews said the points bend very easily, I didn't find that to be the case. Mine are still sharp.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Fits

I'm glad I found this remedy!

Absolutely awesome tool! If you have a favorite dress and want to use its pattern to create a new dress, this tool will come in very handy. Leaves no marks on fabric but clear marks on paper. Easy to copy templates

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • No mold required

Not suitable for tracing on fabric.

I didn't look at it carefully before buying it. Sharp spikes are completely unsuitable for tracing sewing marks on patterns, as the spikes pierce the fabric at tiny points and tear through the fabric of the pattern. It is NOT a tracing wheel, but a strange, pervasive thing.

Pros
  • The perfect tool for sewing leather, paper and fabric
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Does what I need very well.

I don't know what other people use this for but it works great for my needs. I put a sheet of kraft paper on top of the cardboard, place the garment (or part of it) on the paper and trace the seams with this tool. The tool leaves holes which I then draw, add seam or hem allowances, adjust where I want to make changes, and cut the pattern to match the copied design. A very fast, non-destructive way to make fake fashion clothes. It's sharp and strong enough for that and leaves nice holes in my…

Pros
  • With wooden handle
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Riveting Plastic Models

This is for you plastic model makers. This tool is very sharp and makes nice round recessed "rivets" when rolled over styrofoam. The 400 paper passport eliminates the "volcanic" look of the displaced plastic. So the harder you press, the more "dimples" will remain. I had to add a few shims on either side of the wheel to get it moving straight and without hesitation. The bolt and nut holding the wheel are immediately unscrewed and you can adjust the tension depending on how much the wheel will…

Pros
  • Easy-to-use Wooden Handle and Steel Adhesive Wheel
Cons
  • No Instructions
