Smooth and precise

The magnetic damping is very gentle and saves time. Revain sells a cheap set of analytical weights that are made in India and accurate enough to get more accuracy out of these scales. Ohaus claims an accuracy of 0.1 grams, but with weights I get an accuracy of 0.02 grams. Use a magnifying glass and you can squeeze out 0.01. The only thing I didn't like was the heavy weight, which was difficult to put on the glide scale. I don't know what I did, but it finally happened.

Box opened and heard the sound of loose gravel, didn't care much until I went to calibrate the scale, couldn't zero it and then realized the shot (no lead) came out of the ground the pan. I realized I could take it. I started trying to fill the shot, then I found that there is a screw in the shot cavity that enters the thread in the base. I finally decided that I needed to remove the stainless steel from the top in order to reattach it. It was glued on. Loosened the glue with a heat gun…

Having built my pottery studio from scratch, I was only able to open the box and use the scale after more than a month had passed since delivery. When I was ready to mix the glazes (it's very important to be accurate to tenths of a gram), I couldn't get the scale to zero. I then tried using a standard weight but failed again. Allow the scale to read the correct…
