When I opened the box I found a lot of small metal balls. I thought they might be important but couldn't find where they came from. Having built my pottery studio from scratch, I was only able to open the box and use the scale after more than a month had passed since delivery. When I was ready to mix the glazes (it's very important to be accurate to tenths of a gram), I couldn't get the scale to zero. I then tried using a standard weight but failed again. Allow the scale to read the correct weight. I then looked at the scale again and found that the weighing surface head that arrived "put on" was actually only in place due to gravity. I removed the head from the scale and found that the inner bolt was loose on the inside and I couldn't determine its attraction to the inner magnet. As I started playing around with it, more and more metal balls kept falling out. At this point I found as many beads as I could, put them back in the head of the scale and tried taring the scale again. It worked, but only for a second, until the metal beads fell back through the hole left by the missing bolt. I now have a completely inaccurate scale preventing me from making the frosting I needed a few weeks ago. I also have no way of contacting the company through Revain hence this long and unfortunately negative review. I just want to exchange this broken one for a working one if the company supports their product.
