The oil stays.: Liquid detergent

Don't waste your money. Not only does it NOT remove any oil from the bedding, it also smells awful. Recommended by a masseuse friend of mine. She said it would change my life. I bought the powder because she said it works great. The oil didn't come out at all. So I thought I'd try the liquid, NO, it didn't work either. Walnut oil is difficult to remove. I'm switching to coconut oil and going back to regular detergent.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Not worth it for housewares

I wouldn't bother with a review but considering the price it has to be said. My bedding is less than 6 months old. I use oil and have started to see stains. When I received this I was using it as per the "heavily soiled" instructions. I even soaked them in hot water for a few hours and washed them again. The spots were still there. I didn't give up and kept using it for 2 weeks. It seems that the stains have started to spread or the oil stain lines have started to spread. I won't buy this…

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Something different

I'm a massage therapist and was looking for something to remove oil from the sheets. I think it would work better if you could also use warm or hot water for rinsing, but most washing machines don't have that option to be more energy efficient. Smells like solvent or GooGone. I added a cup of some detergent and soaked the sheets in hot water for an hour before washing. I did that for several weeks. I then found that the towels feel sticky when dry and that the face pads, which are not greasy…
