Old Country Roses Royal Albert Review

I bought a bread and butter plate hoping it would be big enough to place an Old Country Roses kettle on. I prefer teapots with saucers as I tend to spill a small drop of tea each time I pour. This plate is not big enough. I have to order a salad plate! BUT - this plate is perfect as a starter for oranges, biscuits, muffins, strawberries etc.

Royal Albert Old Country Roses are still a very pretty dinnerware set, although they are now made in Indonesia rather than England. Not many things are made in the countries of origin, look at the US. This is the second item I have bought from Royal Albert - I received this 'bread and butter plate' and this 'fruit plate' and both arrived unassembled. Not happy with that. What I also didn't like was that both items were incorrectly advertised for their size. This one especially. which according to the dimensions of the product should be "13.6 x 13.2 x 5.1 inches".
