I know that Old Spice has changed their recipe recently because I've read a lot of reviews about it sticking together and having a different consistency than before, which is an experience I've had after years of use . I thought they fixed the issue because I bought a pair from a store that fixed the issues. Guess it's probably an old batch that has a clumping issue which got me frustrated because I've finally regained my confidence in the product so I bought 4.

This was once the best antiperspirant on the market when it looked like it. However, it has changed to a red cap, and the formula has changed with it. It no longer rises smoothly and evenly - it's semi-tacky when you apply it. To make matters worse, it smells like Pine-Sol cleaner and doesn't even cover up the smell of sweat. This product is only recommended if you want a white pasty crust on the inside of all your shirts and over your pants and if you want a dirty public toilet smell.

The ancient formula (in a clear lid jar) was the best antiperspirant/deodorant I have found. Many of the scents were pleasant, the effectiveness of the antiperspirant was excellent, and the product applied smoothly, almost like a moisturizer. The new formula (in a red capped jar) is the worst I've ever put on my armpits. . It frizzes and tangles in armpit hair like wax gum (which takes some hair loss to remove as it's resistant to soap and hot water), the antiperspirant doesn't stop my sweating

Old spice. Seriously, listen to your (once) loyal customers. You made a terrible mistake reformulating those soft solids - it was the only deodorant I've used in the last 10 years and we had a great relationship.
