arrived broken, very thin, poor quality and apparently can't be returned for a refund which I didn't know until I tried it. I'm sure more than one customer has had a similar experience. OWC was sold to foreign investors, after which the quality dropped significantly. I bought the icicles at least twenty years ago when the company was still the original owner, moved them a few times and they haven't broken.

I have 10 sets of these so I can say from experience that they are great. They are made of crystal and are subject to shattering, but offer a beauty and brilliance that plastic simply cannot imitate. I can't understand why people are posting bad product reviews that are actually based on shipping issues. I've had several breaks over the years, but also a number of my other glass jewelry pieces.

Compare the first photo to the second and it's hard to tell, but the tip is actually rounded and smooth, not chipped and jagged . I bought unbroken from a gift shop and liked them so much I found them online and ordered an Old World Christmas from the same manufacturer and was excited to hang them on the tree. Each is broken and repackaged for sale. Terrible, will never buy here again

These are so beautiful on the tree. The light bounces off them just enough to bring the tree to life. I originally had two packs and ended up ordering two more to hang on my Christmas tree. They add such a cute touch. They are very thin and delicate, with nice detailing for a simple icicle. I think it's the details that make the light reflect so well.
