Thank god I got this. This allows you to cut fabric three times faster. No problems with blade dullness or ergonomics. I didn't know if I wanted 45 or 28 but decided on 28 because I cut curves while quilting cotton, glad I did. My only complaint is that the security mechanism seems "inverted" to me, so I'm always in doubt as to whether or not I have it enabled.

Although I like the idea of a cutting machine, especially when sewing masks with small rounded pattern pieces, this cutter does not cut. I couldn't even get it through the thinnest thin pieces of fabric. I've tried cutting fabric on cardboard, wood, acrylic cutting board, glass...just about anything I could think of and couldn't get it to cut through fabric. It only came with one blade, although it's possible to order other blades because you can change blades by unscrewing the top, but I'm not

I have a few old designs of this knife. You are fantastic. We moved and I lost them in a box somewhere. So I ordered another one. The problem is that this new design doesn't have the security features of the old one. It took me several times to realize that I had cut my thumb pretty deep. on the top of the blade as I dipped it into the fabric.
