Not a fan. for my opinion

The rubber back plate slash charging port cover falls right off, will I'm sure be lost in short order. The mounting band is poor. I have off brand el cheapo lights off Walmart that are better. Not recommended from this cyclist. I put too much stock in the Light name.

Pros
  • Super Bright Long Battery life and different light options.
Cons
  • May not be adjustable for different levels of brightness

Compact and crazy bright

Super slim compact package. nice mounting. stupidly bright on high low will be plenty in most places. silly bright will be excellent in city riding where there is a lot of "light" to compete with.USB rechargeable. I really like this little light. good job!

Pros
  • During the day in my house, it’s bright.
Cons
  • May not work well with all bike bags or baskets

Started to flicker within the first two minutes of use

Fully charged the light, set up settings per instruction booklet. Went on my first ride and within the first minute or two the light started to flicker. Please see my attached video of what the light is doing. Tried resetting the light, tried charging light again, continues to flicker dimly and is not usable. Returning and avoiding this brand in the future. Many reviews talk about this, I agree the mounting system is not optimal. I feel like it will be very easy to loose back rubber mounting…

Pros
  • The IPX6 waterproof rating means that this tail light can withstand heavy rain or wet weather conditions, making it perfect for all-weather cycling
Cons
  • May not be easily visible in areas with heavy snow or ice

Good light for to be seen

This Olight branded Magicshine Seemee 30 is a decent to be seen taillight. It is visible for more than 100 meters in clear day. The "smart" sensor feature is very useful. During the daytime it blinks and during the night there is constant on with blinking. It can also attach to not only seat post but the rear fork. Overall, it is a good light.

Pros
  • Applications
Cons
  • May not be easily visible in heavily populated or brightly lit areas

Not bright enough "DayTime Safety " for Road Bikers

I have two Olight RN400, I loved it so much I purchased two more for my other family members. I already have several no-name LED tail lights, as you see on the photo and brightness comparison video I attached to this review. I am an avid road cyclists, I try to ride 150 miles a week as time and my legs allows me to. I am mostly on bicycle trails, but almost one third of the time I am on the regulars roads. I always have in the back of my mind, what if vehicles approaching from behind doesn't…

Pros
  • With 30 Lumens, this tail light provides bright, clear illumination for increased safety on the road
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all bike seats
