The mechanism broke after two weeks.

I am very disappointed with this mechanism. It broke two weeks after installation with the shaft pin in the middle of the gear. The original gear is also plastic but much stronger and luckily I salvaged it and reinstalled it. I don't know if anyone else has had this mechanism malfunction and would be interested to know. It just seems like this gear is cheaply made and I wouldn't buy it again.
