My daughter is 5ft 170lbs and I bought 1x that fits her. It's thinner than expected but still keeps you warm, we live in Louisiana so temperatures only occasionally hit the 20's. The color goes with almost everything she wears. Would buy again in the future.

The coat was nice but the size doesn't fit at least two sizes (runs small) and it's thin, not so heavy that it can also be worn in the south in winter, more like a windbreaker. They returned. Also, it was sent in an envelope that was stuffed so tight that I had to slit the side of the envelope to get the coat out for fear of cutting the material, which was ridiculous.

I bought a size bigger than I wear but would like to buy 2 sizes bigger. The zipper broke in the first week. I will say that I liked how it made me feel. Soft and comfortable. My complaints are that the zipper broke after a few wears and it's a hair and lint magnet. I couldn't keep hair or lint from it. Haven't tried to return it, but haven't worn it either. I am 5ft 200lbs. I bought 2x.

The jacket is thin but warm. I wanted a jacket for temperatures around 40 and it is good for that. The wind doesn't go through. If you don't wear a hood, you can put a scarf around your neck. I wish the outer material was a bit thicker but that will be ok. I like that the outside is all cotton because other materials make me sweat when wearing a coat. I bought it many years ago to replace my coat. It's not nearly the same coat, but I get by with it.

When I unpacked the package, I was very excited. This is excellent quality compared to the price: good stitching and nice materials. The only disappointing thing is that it didn't quite fit. Everything fit perfectly in the shoulder area, but it was shorter than I expected. Definitely very tight in the hips and chest. This overall looks like a very cheap jacket. Like it should have been $20 instead of $40. I think to return. My main complaint is that it just isn't warm enough. The "fur" lining is very soft but thin and doesn't go all the way around the front zipper. About 6 inches of the chest and belly are unlined, which worries me a lot since the chest is the main place to warm up. Great jacket! I expected problems based on the reviews. I can say that I was very pleasantly surprised. The first thing that struck me was the deep beautiful turquoise color which is way better than the picture on the website. The color is spectacular. The jacket itself is very well made. Lining works for me since I'm in LA and temperatures don't often drop below 30. So that should be comfortable for fall weather. Don't expect a thick winter coat with tons of thick fleece.
