The narrowest white light settings aren't entirely clean, some bulbs have a green cast but the overall look is decent. They didn't state that any of the multiple colors weren't "white." The timer function must have a setting secret as my 6 hour setting works at 5.5. I need to figure out this attitude. The instructions that came with it aren't that great.

I was surprised that this product requires USB power interface. I had three strings and was able to get a six output USB source quickly, so I'll probably order three more strings for Christmas. Looks good at night, bright enough. The remote control has a short range (within 6 feet) but can control all strings at once. During the day they look milky white, I would prefer transparent, but not critical. My wife loves the setting that switches between different modes.

I hung them on the ceiling in my son's room. It took too long so I hesitate to take them off and switch to something else. At first they worked well and created a pleasant atmosphere. After a few months of use, they began to fail. They change color on their own. About every 20 minutes they switch off completely for 1-2 seconds and on again.
