Perfect match for XPS 9500, better than expected

I installed a module on my XPS 9500 and was blown away by the performance. .By the way, the RAM is declared as CL 18, but I actually have a 17.0 module. The chipset is from SK Hynix, who also supplied the original RAM modules for my laptop. I definitely recommend this product.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Perfect for my Dell G15 5515 with Ryzen 5!

Gave me a full 3200 in my Dell G15 5515 with Ryzen 5 with no fuss right out of the box. I should have bought them in the first place, not the other big name everyone seems crazy for that only gave me a 2666 despite a 3200 rating because there are no profiles in my BIOS XMP. Don't waste time - it works!

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Can I add something?

Suitable for AMD laptop

I grabbed the Asus G15 "AMD Advantage Edition" laptop as soon as it came out. Critics berated Asus for using RAM with "slow" timings (probably CAS 22 as that seems to be very common with DDR4 3200 SODIMMs), so I plan on upgrading the memory as soon as I have it. I have a 32GB Crusial Ballistix kit spec 3200, CAS16, 1.35V. It only ran 2666 CAS 19 on an AMD laptop and of course UEFI has no way to change RAM speeds or timings . Then I tried this OLOy RAM and it started immediately with rated speed

Just tested and put the laptop away for now. Needless to say, I'm quite impressed with the performance they put on. Gaming tests haven't shown any changes so far (Fire Strike, Time Spy, Heaven, etc.). However, I noticed a slight increase in Cinebench R20 and R23. I did a before and after test with Aida64 on the 3rd test and included the results in a Notepad screenshot. I've also included a single run from Aida64 showing that these numbers are accurate. Also, CPU-Z shows that JEDEC is actually…

Dell XPS 9500 only runs at 2933MHz

My Dell XPS 9500 laptop only runs at 2933MHz with this RAM NOT the advertised 3200. I have a model with an i7-10875H processor and the RAM Modules came with worked on the 3200. Disappointing because I chose this RAM on purpose because they said it was native 3200 with no XMP. However, the timings on 2933 are very good (17-19-19-37) so I still give it 3 stars. what RAM they are working with at maximum speed. From what I've read elsewhere, 2933 is the max speed they'll run with most RAM, so I…
