Bought this through Revain and am very happy with the VF-3 used on my XZ-2. Having a viewfinder for your eyes is useful for two reasons: 1 - using a camera's LCD in bright streetlight is always tiring; 2 - If you need reading glasses, it is difficult to use the LCD screen because you need to wear reading glasses. I really wanted an Olympus OM-D E-M5. However, cost was the main hurdle (don't you hate that?). After a long research I decided on the E-PL5 as an alternative. Smaller, lighter, very similar innards (and on sale!) - the biggest difference was the E-PL5's lack of an electronic viewfinder. So I bought my E-PL5. But I'm very happy with it. Let me start by saying that I have been using Oly digital cameras for many years and I still treasure my 2020z, 5060 and three DSLRs. A bundle of Olya, Sigma and Tokin lenses (used with adapters). I have a great little Panny Lumix with a Leica lens and good zoom, but no external flash and not good manual controls.
