Does what it's supposed to do

Process both 120mm and 35mm film in this tank. There are no problems with leakage. There is a silicone o-ring and if it wasn't there I would have seen it could be an issue. Eventually I will switch to a stainless steel tank, but only because the plastic will fail over time. Until then it works as expected.

Has worked well for several months.

I got this for my photography class and have used it many times over the course of a year. I've never had a problem with leaks and my negatives have always come out good. However, once the round rubber seal loosens or loosens, leaks begin to appear. Mine failed towards the end of my use and I had problems with chemical leaks. Some of my negatives didn't come out quite right either, but I'm not entirely sure if it was because of this tank or something else.

The Omega Universal Reservoir is only slightly larger, but its drums can be used with both older and newer Paterson System reservoirs, and Paterson drums can also be used with this reservoir. As several reviewers here and other online review sites have found out about these tanks, they leak. They leak because a lot of people invert tanks quite violently (reverse evolution), which can cause leaks if the gaskets…
