Useless Axle Protection, Don't Bother

This Automotive dust shield was a complete WASTE of money .Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that it does not provide any real protection against dust and debris. The flimsy material used in this item tears quickly, rendering it useless and not long-lasting. Save your money and invest in something better..

Some rust spots are suitable for wheel and brake dust covers

There were a few spots on the underside that were not painted at the factory. The unpainted seats had some surface rust, probably because they were stored unpainted. I had to sand them down and touch them up with Rustoleum gloss paint. Only 4 stars for that. Also, it fits well and is a good replacement. So if you're not afraid to touch them up, they're a lot better than the old rusty skid plate on my 79 CJ5.
