NOT AS SHOWN, even cheaper construction than BEFORE.

Not like the photo. Even cheaper quality than the previous model and doesn't quite match the bezel. Unfortunately this is the only OEM look. And we restore. Wish my customers like after-sales. This company sells Chinese junk in every product they touch.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Not as advertised Best in sensor kits

The sensor I received had a metal mount instead of a plastic mount which was said not to work. The metal should not function as intended. The bezel on this one is black, I was expecting chrome like the factory cj5 gauges. I haven't wired it yet, I will do it the next day and will update the review after I do.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Damaged

Doesn't fit best in sensors

This sensor sucks. It's too low and the bracket that holds it to the dashboard doesn't work. The label on the back differs from the original. The quality is not even close to factory. You would think that someone selling them would install it, embarrass themselves for the crap they sell and overrate the manufacturer. Save your money and Speed Hut sensors. They fit and are easy to assemble.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Negative impression

Not the same caliber as pictured. Not OEM or direct fit!

The sensor I received was not the same as the picture above. The terminals are too small to match the factory terminals. In addition, the sensor is significantly higher than the factory Faria. I couldn't install this. Sent it back and got a crown gauge instead which fits perfectly and is easy to install. In the photo, the factory Faria is on the left, the crown is in the middle, and the Omix is on the right.

  • Brings joy

Item not as shown - no returns

If I could give 0 stars I would. I received my item and it doesn't match the front or back photo and Revain says this item is non-refundable (even if it doesn't match the item I ordered and paid for). The only real thing about it is the oil pressure gauge, but you can't even see the markings on it because the inner plastic goes up instead of going down and covering it. Seems extremely poorly made. I'm keeping my old original shod over this junk and it just won't be worth it!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not the best

Looks good but not perfect

The meter is significantly smaller than the original. There are no markings on the back to indicate where the power cord goes. The part that attaches it to the dashboard is now made of plastic instead of metal like the original. This isn't a problem, but the light won't work without running a negative wire to the backlight. At least there was a lightbulb and a wire to connect the positive pole to the wiring harness. The plastic bracket is not long enough to securely attach the sensor to the…

Sensor OK but not as shown

This sensor is not as shown but works well. Above is a photo from another reviewer. Remove the metal U-bracket on the back, slide the sensor through the dash on mine, it was a little hard to push through but got through, and after connecting the wires insert the U-bracket to keep them in place. I have a '78 Jeep CJ, the wires on this sensor weren't in the same place as the original so be sure to check that out. The positive wire was on the opposite side of the original so check if it has a +…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Exterior

Too bad, just sucks. Now I've had the same issues with both aftermarket manufacturers like Omix-Ada and Crown. a plastic mount that deviates about a quarter of an inch. And what the heck are these people thinking without giving us any installation instructions. Then there's the small issue of having to splice wires to make it work as the bracket that comes with it is plastic and causes grounding issues. Therefore stick with the factory units as these items are being sold to us as COMPLETE…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Very expensive

Useless to me. fits electrics

I bought this to replace a factory sensor on a 1976 jeep which is an exact replacement as the description states. As another reviewer says, there are no markings or tags on the sensor ports, and since there are different mounting methods depending on the year of your Jeep, it takes some faith. I wired it according to the 1976 factory sensor, which is a 12 volt terminal on the driver's side, a ground in the middle, and a sensor wire on the passenger's side. It worked fine so no problem. However,
