It fits, but it's LOUD!

Loud enough to distract! Let's see how this winter will be. Fingers crossed. We are the only ones available at Revain for my 2008 JK Wrangler.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM

I bought this motor and it was delivered on 10/11/2020. He worked until the first cold day of winter, maybe two months. Unfortunately it was cold and I didn't have the interior space to take it out and return it before the 'return window' closed. DO NOT FEAR THIS PRODUCT.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • The list goes on.

I thought it would be nice to save a few bucks by buying this wiper motor for my wife's 2017 Jeep JKU, but do yourself a favor and buy it at Autozone Advance or even the dealer. This is not the easiest motor to replace and there is a risk of scratching the paintwork. Not satisfied in any way. I contacted Revain to inquire about the warranty ok if they get it right but at this point I need to buy a new one as now I can't ride it in the rain.

  • Certified
Cons

Not good for winter weather

I bought this motor 3 months ago and it worked fine until winter came. The last 2 mornings when I went to work it was 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Both mornings I turned on the wipers to clear the ice and they moved very slowly, getting stuck when they reached the vertical point and staying there for an hour drive to work. It was 30 degrees Fahrenheit when I left work and the wipers were working great. Anywhere between 10 and 30 degrees they stop working. I suspect it's the grease inside that isn't…

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Upgradeable
