excellent tripod stand for stability of the mixer

I bought this stand together with the adapter for the mixer which I screw on the top. It is much more reliable to use a tripod than a round bottom tripod. I would be afraid that the blender would be too heavy and tip over. Very well made stand. It tucks away on the feet and on the stand itself, allowing it to be stored smaller when not in use.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Exchange possible

Very nice microphone stand

This stand is very durable and the fact that it has a 5/8 jack means you can attach all kinds of accessories to it. so he can hold my mic closer to my mouth when I'm sitting. It's a very solid stand, you can even tilt it forward a bit by adjusting the legs (if you do it too hard it will tip and fall) if you just let the mic sit straight on it. The stand is very solid, a little heavy, but that helps it not tilt.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • So-so

SOME ROBUST.: Microphones and Accessories

The $19.98 mic stand is hard to fault. Everything is fine in the stand EXCEPT the plastic clamp. Yes, it's reinforced with steel notches for the legs. When assembling in the working position there is a noticeable movement of the fork for the legs. And that single problem makes the rack patchy. The overall strength of the rack depends on the clamp. can last a year under heavy use, defiantly live less "on tour". What happens to those manufacturers who use plastic for one component that the entire

Pros
  • Quality construction

As a Christmas present for my child, I built him a stage, his own storage and shelves. Along with remodeling her entire playroom. I got this rack but hesitated. At first I thought maybe a bigger round base would be better. I'm glad I went with it. Not only does it stick VERY well on children, it's also very easy to remove. The legs fold down and you can easily put it in a corner or in a closet. Easily adjustable. The kids love it and so do I.

Not as strong as I expected. The outer legs of the stand should rest on the ground most of the time, as they don't want to assume the same normal upright position as similar microphone stands. Not the worst mic stand I've gotten from Revain but I'd say if you can go to a music store I'd recommend going there first so you can check the quality for yourself. But it's still pretty good, and I think if you can't find a personal stand for less or the same price that you think is very solid, it'sโ€ฆ

Unfortunately, this is considered a VERY WORSE mic.

I buy a lot of Revain stuff. At one point I was a Vine columnist. I'm an artist and my mic stand broke so I ordered this. Unfortunately, this ranks as the WORST mic stand I've ever had. I didn't send it back to Revain because working with it I can keep it straight for a while. The problem is (unless I have a defective one) that the lower tripod, like the legs, are NOT bolted or actually attached to the upper base. It keeps coming loose or wobbling so much I can barely use it. I have to take itโ€ฆ

  • Good product for the price

Great mic stand! Does the job but a few caveats to note!

Nice microphone stand! Does the job and packs easily for a gig. I mainly use this for home recording, but it's really nice to be able to use it and move it around. The adjustable height is also useful for different heights. I give 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. First, the tripod's three legs wobble a little even when the screw is tightened as tightly as possible. It's not that bad, but it's noticeable, especially if you accidentally hit it while recording or if it has an acoustic shieldโ€ฆ
