Too difficult for kids, best for needlework

I was trying to assemble them with a class of 5-6 year olds, it was so difficult I could barely understand the instructions. I wonder if the author was an engineer?

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Too difficult in paper and paper crafts

The box of paper airplanes states that these 12 figures can be assembled by anyone in a minute. I'm an adult and I've been trying to collect them for my grandson and it wasn't easy at all. I bought him many books about planes, trains etc. but this purchase was a waste of time and money. We tried to make just one plane and then we put the box in the closet.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not as easy as it sounds

These slicers are pretty cool, but they take over a minute to put together. You will also need a stapler to sew them together, which I didn't mention anywhere on the packaging. And the standard stapler does not fit all the places that need to be fastened. My son still likes airplanes, but this was definitely not the fun project I thought he would have.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Fun end product when crafting

My review contradicts my review. Planes are very difficult to make, much more than a minute! But that's mostly because of terrible destinations. Ignore directions. Keep studying the final picture and working towards it. Got this for my smart 7 year old grandson and there was no way he could follow the instructions. So he and I work together on what I enjoy more. Once done, they fly surprisingly well.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Really very cool. Except maybe a little more advanced than some.

Really very cool. Except maybe a little more advanced than some reviewers have led me to believe. Got these for my 8 year old nephew who insisted on starting with "red", one of the most advanced designs. After all, my brother did most of the work, but he really enjoys it, so what the hell?! This set reminds us of something my dad had in the 80's, a set where you glued layers of paper together to make fancy paper airplanes. We had fun with it, although not so much for the nephew it was intended…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
