Amazing boot for the price but!

I bought this for my son and he loved it. Only negative note: some of the outer screws fell out, and some of the outer plastic just fell off! Update: After writing a great review, three straps suddenly break. I tried contacting this vendor with no help, O'Neal will not endorse their product.

If you are 8.5 in regular shoes. Take size 9! Not size 8!

My husband is a size 8.5 and I bought him these size 8 Oneal shoes last month because I read in one of the customer reviews that he should get a size smaller. And I had to return and return the shoes because my husband said his toes hurt. Laugh out loud. So I reordered the boots but this time in size 9. And now he is very happy. And can't wait to use it this weekend ๐Ÿ˜† August 2020

great value

I bought these for bi sport rides and they work great. There are good videos on YouTube showing how to break in your boots before you wear them. Took about 2 or 3 rides to really break them in but now they work great. Dollar for dollar, good value. These aren't the most comfortable boots for walking around town while stopped, but they can be managed. The protection is amazing as I dropped my bike right on my ankle and leg and didn't hurt my leg or boot. I know I would have twisted or injuredโ€ฆ

This product did not fit me, I have a wide foot and nothing is sold wide. I was hoping to make these boots work as money is limited and my budget included these beautiful boots. The boots are very durable, well made, but didn't fit me because I have very wide feet "EW". So since they don't have roomy boots that fit my foot, they subtract $22 from my total price of $105 for these boots. So beware: before you buy from MX South, be aware that they will charge you 20% if you want your money. backโ€ฆ

Great for Beginners

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: *NOTE* Wear them for hours or days around the house, these boots MUST be broken in. Pros: Good rigidity to protect the lower leg and fibula in the event of a fall. Adjustable buckles. Surprisingly large airflow on the highway. I rode home 2.5 hours after picking up my first bike and my feet were relatively dry and comfortable. The Bad: - For lower speeds on trails and the like, I'm sure they're a little stuffy. - The buckles are a bit odd but work well. - I hadโ€ฆ

Very important! in shoes

I was a bit skeptical before buying these boots due to the price difference between these and other riding boots, reviews say the straps are torn and the boots are too stiff. But I ordered them and couldn't be happier with the price and quality of the boot. #1 rigidity, I watched a youtube video of a guy showing how to put on riding boots, works like a charm, don't wear them. right out of the box. Take your time and work on it a bit, then wear it a little looser for a few rides. After 3-4 rides

Saved my ankle in an accident!

Wore these boots for about a month. I didn't want to buy them as many reviews said they weren't suitable for street driving. At first they were stiff at the ankle, difficult to shift and break, but it gets easier with more use. Since I don't ride that much, I'm still breaking her in. On a sport bike, the shifter is small so I have a hard time getting my foot under the lever due to the large pad size in my toe. These are obviously dirt bike boots, but I wanted something that would protect myโ€ฆ

Best value for money

Definitely the sturdiest boots I've ever had. I had an old Alpinestar Tech 2 from the 90's and some Fox boots. (Never high end) I think you get what you pay for when it comes to boots but I've been running in these for the last 2 days and I can already feel some "jumping" in the boot. I always tarnish my boots before riding and this is the secret sauce for cheap hard boots. There's a great video on YouTube on how to break in your dirt bike boots. He does it a lot like me, but I also walk my dog

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
