I was a bit skeptical before buying these boots due to the price difference between these and other riding boots, reviews say the straps are torn and the boots are too stiff. But I ordered them and couldn't be happier with the price and quality of the boot. #1 rigidity, I watched a youtube video of a guy showing how to put on riding boots, works like a charm, don't wear them. right out of the box. Take your time and work on it a bit, then wear it a little looser for a few rides. After 3-4 rides they work great. #2 straps, straps are adjustable, wear them too tight and like everything else they will break. #3 Price, don't know why they are so cheap, quality is great. Nothing about them looks cheap. And when it comes to protecting our lower extremities, they're worth their weight in gold. Size #4, I'm a 10.5 and have read about rounding for the correct fit, I'm an 11 and they fit perfectly. #5 Comfort, I wear thicker socks and they feel good, I wore regular socks that I wear with boots and they were a bit uncomfortable because they are so stiff to protect you. All in all I would buy these boots again. I know someone who has worn a pair for over 5 years and is still sticking to it.
