I needed a waterproof mattress pad but hate the chemical smell and the whistling noise. I found this one and have had it for a few months and LOVE IT! I have a very old Great Dane that is leaking urine. It hasn't penetrated my mattress, but it's not sitting on it either. It is very easy to wash. Didn't fit and true to size. As you can see from my photo, Juno loves it too!

Didn't fit us. We want something that isn't gasoline. It had a chemical smell. When my wife poured a cup of water in, some of the water came out wet. There was no stream of water, no drops. But the mattress comes into contact with the liquid. Really great seller who took care of the return. He said he would try to improve the product.

We had this mattress topper on all three of our daughters beds and on the queen bed on our bed. We had no leaks, although we did have a few blobs or leaky diapers. They are very easy to clean and I really like the feel. They are not noisy at all and very comfortable.*** It would be great if this company made pillowcases from the same eucalyptus fiber!***

I was looking for a cheaper waterproof mattress topper than Naturepedic. But in the end you get what you pay for. "Breathable" is a much more subjective term than I thought. PUL makes them very hot, has a very cheap and thin layer between the sheet and the PUL, and I think it's debatable if they actually create a healthier sleeping environment. Will definitely try to come back and go with Naturepedic.

Even after a short period of use, very thorough washing and air drying, this coating has not failed.
