Best price for 10X13ft tarp

First off I would like to say that this product really did exceed my expectations. I took this hammock camping and every weekend I have gone, the temp has been down into the 40s and the wind has been around 15mph to 20mph. It perfectly blocks wind and does not allow for much of a flow to come through. Due to its multiple tie points, you are able to configure this into many different shelter types ranging from A-frames to Diamond pitch’s, to a frames with walls on either end. Me and my buddy…

Pros
  • The fit and finish of this tarp is awesome for the money
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all camping environments

Great overall protection from the elements!

I bought this tarp for poor weather while hammock camping. I took it out last weekend and it performed great. Gave me plenty of room for my hammock, a small side table and a folding chair (see pic). I had plenty of space to move around and didn’t feel completely confined to my hammock. As the rain poured down, I noticed at the far end of the tarp some dripping. I wasn’t sure if it was due to rain running down my suspension or ridgeline, but it was not dripping onto me or my gear, so I let it be…

Pros
  • Best tarp i own. Color is great too
Cons
  • Could attract unwanted attention from wildlife

5 star tarp but. - my new review

Have not used this in the field as yet, just opened, inspected and repacked. I purchased the 10'x13' primarily for boat camping on the British Columbia coast to replace blue tarps, but it's light and compact enough for group backpacking trips. Looks to be very well designed and crafted. Very nice reinforcing, anodized aluminum rings at 8 primary tie points, edge reinforcement trimming, flawless stitching. The online pic of it laying flat is unflattering, doesn't look like it would pull taught…

Pros
  • Great quality. I bought two for some of our excursions. The size of the tap was key in the decision.
Cons
  • Limited color options

Subpar stitching in my review

Where to start.Nearly twice the price of competition and not even the same tarp they have pictured on product page! The materials themselves feel cheap. Right out of the stuff sack I noticed fraying seems in several spots along the edges, I figured no big deal and decided to set it up anyway. Got it up, and what do I see? Holes at every point they stitched loops to the ridgeline! Unacceptable! Im already in the process of returning this garbage. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time or…

Pros
  • A nice light weight rain fly that is waterproof and tough as oak.
Cons
  • Risk of ripping if not set up properly

Surprisingly durable!

Really love it so far, I've been using it too cover a woodpile in my yard. The stakes are awesome, and the fabric is tougher than I expected! I thought for sure it would have torn one day when I accidently dragged it over a T-Post but it didn't! I've had it out for about a month now with lots of heavy rain and it still looks/works as good as the day I got it.

Pros
  • Easy to use and set up. Well made and durable. Looking forward to years of heavy use.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with certain hammocks

The Bag Comments Are Right

First off, yes, the bag is seriously too small. Even just stuffing the tarp into the bag as tightly as I could, it was a bit of a struggle. There is no way I can get the stakes (with extra stakes) and guy lines (with additional ridge line) into the bag along with the tarp. Not that big of a deal, just a pain in the butt.My initial inspection of the tarp was satisfactory. I saw no glaring manufacturing issues. I plan to take it out for use pretty darn soon, and will update my review afterwards…

Pros
  • Received in repackaged condition!
Cons
  • May not fit all camping set-ups

Good tarp at an excellent price.

I unpacked and set up this tarp today, and I am impressed. It's not too heavy but it seems strong and waterproof. All seams and loops are strong the finish is good. The lines and stakes are OK but I will use stronger ones in the field. I like the color and shape, and am positive this will be a great addition to our camping gear. I purchased another product by OneTigris (a water bottle holder) for my grandson and he loves it. I would buy this tarp again for sure!

Pros
  • This tarp is awesome. Would recommend it to anyone for several applications.
Cons
  • Could be too heavy for some backpackers

Cheap Corner Gromets Failed

I got this tarp yesterday, and tonight it failed me during a heavy downpour.I like the actual tarp itself and would like to give it a higher rating, but the cheap plastic corner grommets broke and I'm laying here wet and and tired. The material seems nice, and has they sewn larger tie out loops I would probably give this tarp a 5 star rating due to relatively low price.Scrap those cheap plastic rings!

Pros
  • Great tarp for the price point. One thing I would change is heavier tie down straps.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for tall individuals

Good Tarp, poor stuff sack

The tarp is decently durable and lightweight for its size. The problem I had was with the stuff sack. It has webbing attacked to the outside for latching gear on. Trouble is, the stuff sack can’t handle it. I picked it up by those loops, and just the force of holding it like that tore the webbing away completely, leaving 4 big holes in the stuff sack. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but for this price I would have liked more strength than that.

Pros
  • Awesome value! I plan on getting another one.
Cons
  • May not provide enough ventilation

Perfect for car camping, not backpacking

Way too heavy for backpacking. I wouldn't take it for that. I'm not a weight weenie either. But, for my 11 foot hammock car camping, I survived many rainy nights totally dry with no issues. Love it for that! Bravo

Pros
  • Best tarp i own now!
Cons
  • May require additional stakes and guylines for proper set up

Perfect for my needs

This is perfect for my hammock. My previous tarp was just a little bit too short and this extra 12 inches made the difference for me.

Pros
  • Lightweight, tarp works well for camping
Cons
  • May not provide enough space for multiple campers

Nice color! good for me

This is an excellent hammock tarp. Very durable, with tons of coverage. Easy to set up, and I like the color. May not be durable in the long-term.

Pros
  • the best tarp ive bought very light weight and durable. actually bigger than what i intended.
Cons
  • May not be durable in the long-term

Affordable and amazing

This tarp is a beast. I set it up today and I live in Buffalo. We got almost 2 inches of rain and winds. Not one drop of water made it through this beautiful tarp. Onetigris is a sleeper company. They design and build amazing and affordable products. I own several of their products and will probably pick up the light weight backpack next. Buy this tarp

Pros
  • ... one more undersized stuff sack added to my collection. Why?
Cons
  • ripped at center tie downs at the stitching

Kept me dry good for me

This tarp is great. It packs down small but covers a big area. I also bought the OneTigris mesh tent, and used both on my 6 day, 45 mile backpacking trip along the Uinta Highline trail. It rained everyday, and one day it rained extremely hard for at least 5 hours. I stayed dry the entire time. I would recommend this tarp to anyone.

Pros
  • Fantastic, lightweight, great attatchment points. Slept two adults in hammocks comfortably...
Cons
  • Great

Not Brown :(: my feedback

Product is fine, maybe a bit heavy with all of the included guy lines and stakes but is a really huge tarp. I received an OD green tarp when I ordered brown however. Probably won’t return it, but kind of annoyed that I didn’t get what I wanted.

Pros
  • Tent Tarps
Cons
  • May attract condensation and become damp inside

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mine was OD Green best in my review

Looks like a solid product. Will update if field use proves otherwise. HOWEVER, the item I received was OD Green and not what was indicated in the description of Coyote Brown. Brown will fit in better in my environment but I can still use Green so not going to get a return. None the less, the posting/photo should be updated.

Pros
  • Awesome buy, no water will ever penetrate this and it is also huge and lightweight! Can't beat it :)
Cons
  • Requires additional gear for set-up

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent shelter tarp and customer service.

This is the nicest tarp I've ever owned. Excellent quality so far. The stakes that come with the tent are incredibly high quality. They are extremely light and are either aluminium or titanium with a hexagonal shape for added strength and durability. I liked them so much I decided to email support and ask where I could buy more of their stakes. They graciously are sending me the extra stakes now, free of charge. I can't recommend OneTigris enough. I will buy from them again.

Pros
  • It Works Fine it does the job keeping the Rain off of me .
Cons
  • Could interfere with natural surroundings if not set up properly

Good value for money.

This is a pretty good tarp for the size and price. I am happy with the fit and finish. It may be the best value for money on a tarp in this size and weight range you will find on Best Buy.

Pros
  • Love this versatile tarp! We use it over our teardrop camper to give us extra dry space when it rains.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to set up alone

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Bottom is grippy, sticks to car

Bottom side is "grippy/sticky" and doesn't slide over my car easily and causes squeaky noises when wind moves it. Otherwise its light, seems durable and is plenty big enough for almost anything

Pros
  • I like everything about this trap. And it didn’t breaks the bank
Cons
  • Difficult to keep clean and maintain

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very tarpy and stuff

Large and lightweight. Perfect thing to replace a tent. It has tie-out points instead of grommets which is a huge plus. It also rolls up very small for its size. I like that it came with stakes and nylon line (equipped with dog bone tensioners even) but I'll be replacing the supplied line with paracord. You know, because when I pitch a tent I mean business and it's going to stay up all night long!

Pros
  • Very pleased with this purchase.
Cons
  • Can be bulky and difficult to pack
