These sockets, well, sockets and yes, the sockets work and the lights come on. Hooray. Rschunimagu. But even here there were a few small disappointments. I'll admit I may have missed this in the product description, but I wasn't expecting the base of each socket to be metal plastic. I thought it was real metal. I only care about this because I changed sockets on a very cool vintage lamp and I didn't go for plastic on purpose and aside from the strength and look of real metal compared to plastic
