I have arthritis in my hands and like many of us find it difficult to get my wrists and fingers to turn the lights on and off at the end of the day. I've tried multiple gadgets - touchscreen, voice activated, an app-controlled device that connects to my phone, even a flip - all had issues. I've always gravitated towards the only lamp I have, with a chain. Realizing that this old-fashioned outlet is always reliable, I decided to swap out a few more lights. I'm so glad I did! This works for me. The process was easy and the rosettes appear to be well done. The only thing that bothers me is that they no longer come with a small keyring/stopper at the end of the chain. I found something that works in the fan pull section, but it's quite large.
