Easy replacement of cracked vent covers

I couldn't be happier. Mounting the fan takes longer (not much time) than mounting it on the roof of my RV. I used to replace the entire vent not knowing that I could just replace the cap and it's a lot easier.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Durable and good value for two vent covers

Very easy and quick installation and clear instructions. It took me longer to get the ladder and tool ready to replace my damaged original cover. These vent covers are thicker and more durable than my original which rotted after six years. Great price for two replacement air vent covers with all necessary hardware for installation.

Pros
  • This is amazing

Good quality, requires a bit more effort

This set of two standard van air vents is excellent value for money and appears to be of good quality. My only (and minor) complaint is that I had to attach all of the hardware to the vent cap. In other versions they are already installed. This is VERY insignificant and worth the cost savings. I recommend this product. (As a side note and bonus, they included a small wrench and screwdriver to install the hardware).

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

works well for RV parts and accessories

They need to be assembled with tiny nuts and bolts. Tools with a kit would take ages to complete the job. I have a shop full of tools, also small ones, for this kind of work. The instructions would be a lot clearer if they just said the dark green side should be visible and the unpainted side should not be visible, but oh well, live and learn. It is highly recommended to work on a level surface with all parts inside the reverse vent. Losing screws won't make your day any better.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Some flaws

Easy installation and perfect match to older versions being replaced

The old vent covers on my class C van were stained and brittle. They broke when I took them off (age 14). They were the perfect couple. Installation is pretty easy if you're careful to remove the old vent caps. The hinge on my plugs was back to front (don't think it's a defect, only mine was installed that way) so we had to loosen 5 small screws and bolts, reverse the connection and replace the screws and bolts. A little tricky but the whole project took 30 minutes or less to replace 2 caps.

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • No
