When placed under the fur cover, the 2 screws that hold the lamp are perpendicular to the wall, which means that it cannot be attached from the back. The light hose then needs to be unplugged to rotate it 90 degrees resulting in the 2 nuts holding it falling into the bracket and cannot be found, they are visible through the lens. I had to use double tape to support the lens and I don't know how long it will last.

They are very, very bright and almost fluorescent. I will find another place for them in my house as they are too light for the narrow mirror they surround. I missed the return window so I'm making the best of it. My dad installed them and said there were no instructions. The base isn't wide enough to cover the big hole in the last people's wall, and they're slightly off-center/not straight with the bottom facing toward the center.

On arrival I wasn't overly impressed with the weight of the metal but it was a bargain price. With a very old junction box that is very flat and has many connections, heavy cables take up most of the space. I think I saw other reviewers mention it but the picture just doesn't show how small and cheap this device looks until you see and feel it in person. This lamp emits a bright, almost glaring light. The luminous flux is concentrated along the entire length of the strip, making it appear sharp. In addition, the light is projected directly onto the face and is not scattered. 1200 lumens is a lot of light for a bathroom mirror. If you want lots of light this will suit your needs.
