Great for accessories and accessories

I have an old Bose surround sound system with no HDMI 3D pass-through for the projector. Split the signal from the Blu-ray player to the projector and the optical output to my sound system. Works perfectly.

Nice little device that does what it's supposed to do

I use this to isolate audio coming over an HDMI cable to connect to my stereo. By the way, the sound is very good. I can't swear by durability, but it worked great for me for about 3 months.

Good instructions and labels on the product.

I showed my 9 year old grandson how to connect his Xbox to the gaming chair (headphone jack) and he was very satisfied. If he takes his Xbox to a friend's house, he knows how to turn off the HDMI pass-through box. Works perfectly. I bought a 1ft HDMI cable and a long headphone cable to get everything working.

It works great for video converter

The sound quality is perfect. I bought this to transfer the HDMI audio output from my Chromecast to my stereo 2 channel RCA input. The connection was very easy and the sound quality is impeccable. No problems with hiss, hiss or hum that are common with digital-to-analog converters. The housing is made of aluminum. It looks good and is obviously very durable. I can only recommend it for older analog stereo systems.

Finally it's possible to separate the sound from the HDNI

I've been working for a while to get the sound back to a better speaker when we use a video projector to show kids movies on the side of the house. When Apple removed the audio jack, this was no longer possible as HDMI also controlled audio. We only need to use a small speaker on a video projector! Now we can split the sound, and when combined with Wi-Fi, the sound is much better again!

My TV has no audio output

I had to use this small accessory because my TV has no audio output and it is not compatible with all soundbars/speakers. all about my PlayStation 4, but that meant I couldn't use the soundbar with other devices or just watch TV normally. Would like more detailed instructions

When I first received and assembled the product when I connected my PS4 the red light came on. Then when I connected the HDMI cable to the TV on the other side, the green light came on there. So I just assumed that because those two were glowing, that was all I would need. However, nowhere in the instructions does it say you have to use the power adapter if you get one, or that the power adapter is a micro USB cable. They also don't give you a power plug. Good sound quality, very efficient

I bought this product because the sound quality from my TV's auxiliary output was very poor. I use a set of 2.1 Logitech Z623 speakers and the sound I got from the TV through these speakers was rubbish. All highs, no mids, no bass. To fix this I bought this box and plugged my Chromecast directly into the box which then goes to the TV. Now I have really good audio quality with my Chromecast! I'm not sure if this is a common situation, but just in case it seems like why you're getting this box…
