I bought these three strands. 2 of them worked great but half of the 3rd thread was DOA. I think based on other reviews this is probably not the norm, but hopefully we can fix this fairly easily. Now only 3 stars for quality control

Just received this set. They are easy to connect, very bright and have 8 different movement settings. extra long cord that allows you to leave space between hedges. I would prefer green wire over clear wire and it should come with anchors or clips for the bottom of the hedge. Great price, happy with the purchase.

These lights have two major problems. First, the colors are the same in each long row, which means the net looks like a rainbow when hung on the hedge. You don't get the randomness of a regular string of lights, and that's very noticeable. Second, these lights don't remember their previous setting if you plug them into a timer. If you use a timer or light switch to turn these lights on and off, the default settings are always the original settings, not the settings you left on. I don't need a flashing light, just a steady light. The seller replied in the question and answer that they support your settings, but they don't. And which part of the lightweight outdoor yarn has the part that needs to be kept dry? It's not exactly a lightweight outdoor product if you live somewhere that can get wet in winter.
