High-Quality ORACAL 651 Glossy Vinyl Roll - 12 Inches by 150 Feet - Stunning Black Finish Review

One star because this is the only Oracal 651 purchase I have ever received out of almost 50 orders this year that have been reduced to under 12". . I won't be returning as 150ft is a problem and I need it for orders but I'm disappointed they didn't provide the full 12".

I use a lot of black vinyl. It's a good price and usually works well. Unfortunately, that last roll I received was 50/50. It's easy to cut and weed, but then the white paper backing won't come off. It was a nightmare sending customers stickers and hearing that.

Something about it doesn't look like the 651 I had on the previous roll. Seems to be holding up well though! I use 651 for all my Etsy mugs and glasses, it's the only vinyl I trust for my customers. The outer vinyl ensures that washing drinks will not cause the vinyl to come off. It's also incredibly easy to weed compared to other brands of vinyl. Ordering such a large roll saves me so much money and time that I highly recommend you do the same when making stickers!

A picture of Oracal 651 is specified and shown in the listing but I received a roll of ORAFOL vinyl. In comparison, I feel like it's a bit stickier. And my default settings had to be adjusted for cutting as it was very delicate to work with. However, once I adjusted the crop options to my machine and saved them for later, the weeding became very easy. I prefer it for smaller projects as the small pieces stick well and don't just pop out. I often buy this 150ft disk when I'm in the store. Vinyl looks weird last time. It's like it has oil on it when in reality it doesn't. So the vinyl finish is not perfect. It also had a large piece of tape on it and then another smaller piece (about an inch) that wrapped around the vinyl and dented it so I had to throw out a few yards.
