Oracal ORAMASK Stencil Film Inch Scrapbooking & Stamping Review

The vinyl I received must be a counterfeit or defective product. My daughter recommended it to me and she can't believe the amount of time I spend on it. It's almost impossible to get it off the standard grip mat without leaving a lot of backing on the mat that I had to scrape off. So I tried a lightweight grip mat, although it works well in Cricut, it's extremely difficult to get off the mat without wrinkling or crumpling the vinyl. I'm beside myself with disappointment!

I was disappointed with the cost and relatively short length of the Cricut JOY release vinyl I decided to use for stencilling. Wanted to buy a Cricut Maker instead to try the big Oramask buns. Decided to take a chance and try it out without swearing on Cricut JOY and to my surprise it works! I bought this stencil to use for making wooden signs. This is a great price and my roll was packaged perfectly. Not too tight, no bubbles. I think film reviews can be difficult. It doesn't work by any means. I've had mixed results with Fleck. If you use stain, apply it lightly and dry completely. If you're having trouble, a coat of spray can help. My best advice for painted wood signs is to apply them to well dried painted wood and paint over the applied stencil with a thin coat of your base…
