Works great! I bought this to use with my thumb coil for scuba diving. Great quality at a great price! Would definitely recommend - this size is great - not too small to fiddle around in the water with gloves on!

I've done this salt water dive more than 10 times and with a fresh water rinse after each dive this latch lock is still in perfect condition. The springs work well and have not yet needed lubrication. Let's see how he behaves in the next two years.

First impression is that you get what you pay for. Cheap packaging that allowed one of them to be out of the box (but still in the Amazon packaging) until receipt. They don't weigh much, but the spring seems to hold together well. Not sure how well they work with a 5mil glove but we'll try them and update after use. The 3 stars are only based on the first impression and will change after the update.
