Works, manual needs help

This is a handy public address radio that does the job. I especially like that I can unplug it and throw it in my backpack so I can get notifications wherever I go. I found the controls a bit fiddly, but once programmed you hardly touch them. The manual is hard to understand, especially when it comes to programming the same codes and knowing what you actually have control over, but again. Once you do, you probably won't need to touch it again. So overall I would give 5 stars if the instructions

Keeps everything that was promised

I have been using this product in a stationary place for a couple of weeks. He did exactly what he had to do. He was pretty good at tracking down the local weather station and I heard his loud signal that a tornado was close and a blizzard was only coming this morning. I recommend this as a reliable and essential warning device in severe weather prone areas. Others have complained that…

To be honest I had a little problem with this but I emailed Oregon Scientific and got a call 3 hours later and within 8 minutes it was programmed. They were also kind enough to call my 75 year…

Oregon Scientific WR103 Weather and Emergency Alert Monitor

I currently own a Reecom weather radio. I needed a second set for my RV, so I looked for a weather radio that was smaller, more portable, and battery operated. The problems started after receiving the device. I removed the battery door to insert the batteries and the small o-ring on the battery door came loose. I put the batteries in and somehow managed to put the o-ring back on (difficult). Programming the device was cumbersome for the user as the programming mode quickly expires if the…
