This is a handy public address radio that does the job. I especially like that I can unplug it and throw it in my backpack so I can get notifications wherever I go. I found the controls a bit fiddly, but once programmed you hardly touch them. The manual is hard to understand, especially when it comes to programming the same codes and knowing what you actually have control over, but again. Once you do, you probably won't need to touch it again. So overall I would give 5 stars if the instructions

He was pretty good at tracking down the local weather station and I heard his loud signal that a tornado was close and a blizzard was only coming this morning. I currently own a Reecom weather radio. I needed a second set for my RV, so I looked for a weather radio that was smaller, more portable, and battery operated. The problems started after receiving the device. I removed the battery door to insert the batteries and the small o-ring on the battery door came loose.
