First impression: This lip balm is very moisturizing. I've been wearing it for over two hours and I still feel it, which is way more than I can say of many other lip balms. I love the rose scent, although it's sweeter than usual. That sweetness comes from almond oil, which is the second ingredient on the list. I just bought this lip balm (Jasmine/Ylang Ylang) from Alteya. I like pink much better. This one is very lumpy like the beeswax granules weren't fully melted or something, I think I would have liked it better if it was smooth like the one I had as a rose. I like the thickness of Alteya lip balm because I like that the lip balm forms a good barrier rather than a thin layer of fat if that makes sense. I was hoping to find a natural very "pink" lip balm and here it is. It's nice and clear, not chalky or sticky. I primarily use Burt's Bees, but I'm not thrilled with the recipe changes the new company has made to the original product (replacing ingredients with inferior alternatives). This pink lip balm has the same comfortable texture as Burt's Bees and works better for me due to the organic aspect.
