Stable stand. I didn't put the glass down. If you hang large towels on it, you still can't put anything on this shelf. I have the second. In the first, I broke the glass by grabbing a towel and knocking over the counter.

This towel rail was the perfect solution for my long, narrow bathroom. There wasn't enough space to mount a second towel rail on the wall. It was easy to assemble. I assembled it in under 15 minutes. The bottom shelf is glass but adds a nice touch of decor.

This towel rail is good enough for the money but very light. One of the top bar receivers is soldered at an angle instead of straight, which caused the plastic bar to bend a bit. It was too hassle to send it back so we just covered it with a towel and you hardly notice. If it was more expensive I would send it back but you get what you pay for :(

It's not often that I give a product five stars but this one is a winner. When we replaced our old clawfoot tub with a very large walk-in shower, the towel space in our bathroom was significantly reduced. It occurred to me that a sturdy yet lightweight stand could be placed in the shower and removed when the shower is in use. This stand does just that. We put it under the railing and it goes perfectly with it. It's strong enough not to fall apart when moved, yet light enough to be moved easily.

I have no idea why everyone gave such good reviews. It was more expensive than some of the other options and the reviews were good so I was optimistic, but it's a flimsy piece of junk. It assembles fairly quickly, but is so light it slips off when I take the towel off. I was so focused on making sure the depth matched the narrow spot I needed it and didn't bother checking the width - in fact, it's about 4 inches smaller than a standard towel. 2021 Edit: Still as good as when received. I no longer need it in the bathroom, I just took it to the laundry room to use as a dryer. Original Rating: I put it together very carefully, although it only took me five minutes. Very cheap and weak. The fatal blow for me was that the bottom shelf is made of glass. While the fine print mentions that it contains glass components, after reading "All Acrylic" in the title, I either didn't bother to read the fine print or ignored it. I would never put it in a room with a tile floor. I've had a shelf fall on the floor when I was moving and since the shelf is so low to the floor I would be concerned about stepping on it. Beat the price and just buy it! Worth every penny. The picture doesn't do it justice because it's very beautiful if you can think of a towel servant as a beauty. I have an all satin nickel in my second bathroom and this item is not BUT it actually works and you don't really think it's too shiny or too silvery when you put towel sets on it.
