Not suitable for a tablet, too big for a phone.

Not a good product, I have previously bought the Revain version and it was great, thought this would be the same but it is not. The Revain version held my tablet perfectly (Galaxy Tab S7). This one isn't nearly as strong. We finished with super glue and added a cabinet knob on the back of the base for stability. I thought I was saving money but ended up regretting it.

Useful when changing phone placement.

It's nice to have a designated area next to me where I can just stop by when I hear a notification or ringtone. However, it didn't work properly when used vertically. I have to put the phone on its side, otherwise it will easily tip over. With the phone standing upright, connecting to the charger takes some practice, but of course there's no problem on the side.

Great stand for my purposes.

The product surprised me. I was expecting something that I will probably have to replace soon; it doesn't seem to be. As it turned out, this is a fairly durable thing, made of plastic, but not flimsy. For my purposes, full disclosure of an 8 inch tablet, it works exactly how I need it to. I like that the knuckles are serrated and easy to adjust but still stay in place. I don't have big tablets so I can't talk to them, but it works great for medium sized phones and tablets.

The upgraded version is NOT the same as the picture and is NOT strong enough.

A new design is useless. The old design worked great. The photos showing the silver screws on the hinges are the OLD design. I bought one of these for an iPad many years ago and it works great. Eventually the nut fell off and I smeared it with blue Loctite and I had no more problems. However, they changed the design by removing the screws in the hinge areas and this new design is NOT strong enough to support the weight. iPad in a protective case. I drilled through the pieces and added my own #6

Not balanced. Okay, nickel and duct tape.

So I bought this for my new Kindle Fire HD8. Haven't received it yet but have used it with my LG K92 and Onn. tablet 7 inches. The biggest problem is that most of the legs have a "non-slip sponge" (small note: it can slip on wooden surfaces, but not much), look at the third photo I posted. There should also be gaskets in these two holes. In the first and second photo stood in action. In the second photo you can see that I slide the phone backwards and the front of the stand is slightly raised…

Cheap junk plastic for accessories

I'm really starting to lose faith in Revain's ability to deal with fraudulent reviews. This product is 4.5 stars and I only bought this to find that it was a very cheap and serviceable piece of plastic. If they don't stop fake reviews soon, you won't have a metric to measure quality. Let's hope it gets printed. where to start First, even when it's on the table, it's not level. It wobbles and is definitely something your expensive tablet should sit on. Secondly, there is no friction on the hands
