I bought this as a gift for a friend who is recovering from surgery and is very bored. Although I haven't tried the patterns yet, I can say that the book itself is very nicely made, with a wide range of origami papers in beautiful prints and tones. This is a nice neat (square) gift box.

Like. Already made two boxes. There are not so many options for box styles, maybe 5 pieces? There is a ton of paper and some of the prints are very pretty and some are colorful but not very appealing to me but when folded into shape they look ok. The book is a great gift for beginners or young people who love needlework. This is a fun book and lots of paper to improve your origami skills.

the instructions were ok but paper with a different pattern on each side was most helpful to decipher the inside and outside when folded. The TOC's usefulness was limited because the pages were tagged on the given page but not in the book. The biggest disappointment was the paper size. Folding 232 times with cheap paper is the value. Learn a new skill at minimal cost.
