47 teeth, light weight, easy for sprockets

Ordered this chainring (47 teeth) in black to use on 110 BCD cranks. The ring looks round, the finish is nice, light, fits perfectly. There are no complaints.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Quality

Not as advertised - parts and components

I ordered a 3/32" 44 tooth silver rear sprocket. I have a black 44th star. The packaging says 3/32" but it actually measures 1 thickness / 8" on my calipers. Dissatisfied.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The only 42t I could find that fits my bike.

I'm not disappointed, this sprocket is a great match for my road bike (: Finally my single speed rebuild is complete = DI, just wish it was worth $20. I've seen many similar sprockets for about $6-10 but they had the wrong screw pattern.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • only available in black

Excellent quality for the price

Can't speak to durability yet, but build quality is on par with much more expensive devices. I've had it installed for a little over a month and I'm very satisfied. I would order this brand again. One thing to keep in mind is that it is shipped from China and due to the Covid-19 mail from there it was quite slow.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Nothing

Works great with any 1x system, not just fixed/single speed

Despite the misleading product name, this is a common 44 tooth cog for non-derailleur bikes. I like that it works with both 110 and 130 BCD crank spiders, although the smaller center spacing means it's a bit harder to get around the cranks if you don't want to remove the cranks. Works great, no problems.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • No instructions

The asterisk is off-center.

While screwing the holes in the 130bcd, I noticed that one of the holes didn't line up with my spider's "legs". After lubricating my elbow a bit, I managed to insert the bolt. Then, as I turned the cranks, I noticed my chain loosening and tightening oscillatingly. I then discovered that these holes were not perfectly aligned. This made chain tensioning a huge confusing headache and it wasn't until today, a week later, that I found the answer to all this confusion. Everything else worked fine…

Pros
  • Large fit for me
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great product - stars

I bought this chain to convert my mountain bike to single speed. It worked very well. This actually saved me as I measured wrong and thought I needed a larger bolt pattern. The smaller bolt's "bonus" circle is what I have, so I was able to use it even though I made a mistake. Please note: Always measure twice, order once. I tried a 1/2 chain and it worked fine, then switched to 3/32 and it was fine too. The bolt holes are recessed on one side, so the chainring bolts were too short. I reversed…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • The list will be long.
