Suppose you need to replace this case in about a year because the Naugahyde clicks and fails. Do yourself a favor and buy a genuine leather bag, or better yet, a genuine leather bag with a leather strap instead of a button, which I did and I'm actually much happier.

Wow, this is a new version of my old case. It's exactly the same as the one that's worn out. Sunglasses are classic, and so is this case. It's the only thing that can protect your Wayfarer glasses when you're not wearing them. The case arrived quickly, in excellent condition and even came with the same lens cleaning cloth as the original. It's nice to know that the quality has been preserved.

I have the feeling that this Ray-Ban case is a fake. a small gap between the letter R and the left edge of the logo. Also, the logo is darker than the official Ray-Ban logo. In the second and third pictures, the microfiber wrap looks a little big and doesn't adhere well to the fabric. In the third picture, the lining on the inside of the case is darker and thicker (my camera doesn't pick this up properly, but it's more noticeable in person). I had one of these 2 of these. One was stolen from the car. One was stolen from a hotel room in India. Both had "bones" in their skin. That means a thick, durable plastic liner for the leather exterior, minus the valve cover. EVEN IF SOMEONE IS INSIDE OR A CAR IS STANDING ON IT, THE GLASS IS SAFE. The new ones are missing. Very sad. If I had old ones, I would send a photo. I hope the manufacturer understands what I mean.

Latch broke on first use. Could be an anomaly but I didn't want to risk a replacement. Looks like I'm going straight to Ray Ban for a replacement.

This is not a sturdy case at all. When I received it I noticed it was stiff, I was afraid it would break. It fell off my kitchen table and I heard a crack. Scared it was my Ray-Ban glasses, I pulled them out and was relieved to find them intact. Later when I put them on I noticed they were tight, then I looked at the case and saw tears from side to side; This fall and the poor protection provided by a very expensive case resulted in my glasses getting damaged.
