So far so good Good for spares

So far so good. Great for my '97 Civic DX. I can't say anything about the durability yet, it's only been a month. But my car starts! The only thing that could have been better was adding new screws for the wire connectors as mine were pretty rusty. But the part itself seems to be holding up well.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some trouble

OEM works fine. - Coils

'95 Honda Del Sol - OE quality. Complicated replacement, make sure you disconnect the battery. TIP: It is also possible to swap out the cap and rotor at the same time as you will be removing them during the process: Bosch 03306 Beck Arnley distributor cap 173-7988 ignition rotor

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Works great in my CR-V

Put it in my 2001 Honda CR-V and it solved my problem with the engine not starting. Big! The only odd thought was that the gold heat shield was on the wrong side. I just took it off and placed it on the opposite side of the reel and bingo! Saved some money and the car started.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Functionality

Bought this not even three months have passed and she has.

Bought 3 months ago and already blown on my 1995 Civic. Unreliable product and I had to have my car towed. Edit: My car already burned those coils, so it wasn't a product, it was my car. Ignore my previous review, my fault

Again on the street! suitable for ignition parts

Worked well. Got my Civic back on the road. Be careful with the spring, it is slightly different (in size) from the original. Make sure it's inserted correctly. You will need to reuse the small screws from the old ignition coil. I nearly broke mine but was able to use both despite being beaten up. I should get replacement screws. The coil has been working for a little over two months and I hope it will last a long time but if it fails I will buy another one.

Pros
  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Not all suitable

EDIT: A trip to the parts store revealed that there are two different types of ignitions: TEC and Hitachi. This is for the TEC ignition (Hitachi has spade type terminals, TEC has ring type as shown). Funnily enough, after realizing the part had ring lugs, I checked 3 other machines and they all had ring lugs (Hitachi). In any case, I will leave the following information for informational purposes. I hope the seller sees the review and adds information about TEC to the description. This will NOT

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Upgradeable
