Junk Do not buy from spares

A 2001 XJ 4.0 had an intermittent start signal code P0320. I installed this sensor and received sensor codes immediately and stalled within a minute. garbage

1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport

My 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport was lying by the side of the road. I ordered this CPS, installed it and went home. Since then my jeep has been running flawlessly.

Pros
  • Multiple Competitors
Cons
  • Mystery

Jeep Cherokee accidentally died until I changed this one

Jeep randomly lost power while driving and would not start for minutes to hours. I read that this could be a cheap fix and it totally worked. Try this first.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Some minor things

Buy a mopar! for crankshaft position

Do not buy! I've read reviews and forums where everyone was talking about buying a Mopar, but I decided to save some money and buy this one that looked 'good enough'. I just bought a Mopar and spent $50 on it. Save yourself hurry!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Only available in black

It worked great for a short time.

Can't say how long it will last as I've only had it a few weeks. But it works as it should. Another note, some reviewers said their gauge was made in China, but the one I received was made in Mexico, as were Chrysler parts.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Empty

Buy a Mopar factory part.

This is not a Mopar part. Don't let the OEM fool you. This is the name of the company. This is not a Mopar factory part. Mine drove about 30,000 kilometers before it broke. Having replaced it with a Mopar part I now realize that there has never been a clean signal. My idle and throttle response is now much better than ever.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Defect

So far, so good. - Sensors

So far so good, it was very easy to install myself as I have done before. I bought it thinking my old CPS had failed because my Jeep wouldn't start but would tip over. This happened to me about 1 or 2 years ago and changing the CPS helped. I actually had a problem with the fuel pump and it wasn't the CPS so I have two now so I put this bad guy in anyway and the jeep runs smooth with it. This is a good piece and at a good price. I drive a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 4.0L 6. I hope this review…

Pros
  • Certified by GOLS
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

No, not a pipe dream! on crankshaft position

Fixed my '98 Cherokee XJ 4.0 right after suddenly encountering a stop/start problem! There was no spark/injection pulse (despite fuel pump priming) and it was found that the CKP sensor had failed, causing the ASD relay (automatic shutdown) to cut power after just 2 seconds. No start signal and code P0320. The dealer priced MOPAR at $132 (really? gold plated? LOL) but considering she has 260k on the clock I thought I'd give it a try first just based on previous reviews. Mine was made in Mexico…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Disappear
