Description of ๐Ÿ”ง Enhanced Performance KS24 Knock Sensor by Original Engine Management

Knock Sensors are same form, fit, function as OE and generate same as O.E.M. waveforms to prevent engine damage due to detonation or poor fuel quality. Correct thread type and pitch ensure units will not loosen during operation causing lack of signal to PCM during critical moments. Tin-plated and solid Brass terminals ensure excellent conductivity. Heavy-duty plated steel & thermoplastic construction. Precison-engineered circuit for faster response time.

The package arrived torn! - Sensors

I ordered a car part for a friend but the part was not in the box The box in the envelope was not reliable as it was sealed with tape. I need to replace the item.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Same knock problem

This sensor is (physically) exactly the same as the one I replaced. I still have the pre-ignition knock that I had before the sensor was replaced. I suspect the sensor is fine and I need to look elsewhere for the source of my knock. I guess you could call me a shade tree mechanic trying to avoid the store.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Lots

what kind of quality is that?

It is difficult to say who the manufacturer of this product is. The trick with this product is that the company's name is OEM, which in automotive lingo means the original equipment that came with the car. The question arises as to whether it is actually original equipment. There are growing doubts about its quality. So when you put it on the car, hope for the best as it is not an easy procedure as it is in tight spaces.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
