This product does NOT work with all TVs. Unless all of your hardware is new, use caution with this purchase. For reference, the same article designed for Apple products worked perfectly with any Apple phone and TV with an HDMI port. I have a Samsung phone, it might be the last phone I ever had.

Works great with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. We have a Samsung Smart TV, but it's been around since they first released 4K TVs years ago, so it's impossible to watch Disney+ on it without using another device. I got tired of dragging my laptop down and found that Samsung Dex mode can do it! Everything is connected and working great!

I bought this to stream video from my Note10 car entertainment system to my kids' rear TVs and it works great. After getting another cable that didn't say DeX (and didn't work at all) I researched and settled on this one and had no problems. Once plugged in everything works great and I haven't had any issues with it. Definitely recommended!

I use zwift for running. I used to mirror my screen on a Chromecast, but after a while there was a lag in the display between the phone and the TV and it got annoying. After application there were no problems. It activates the Dex feature on the phone, which I've played around with a bit, but so far so good

Samsung advertises this for use with Galaxy Tab A tablets. Well after spending almost 3 hours on the phone with various support services, Tab A does not support HDMI output. Of course, that's too expensive for a simple HDMI cable, but even more so when it doesn't work. It would be nice if Samsung would update the support for its products. The support rep finally admitted it wouldn't work after trying several adapters and finally breaking down to buy a Samsung branded cable which they said I had
