Turbie twist worked as promised. My issue with this is that due to the double thickness, it takes forever to dry unless I put it in the dryer and I don't want to machine wash and dry it every time I use it. I've found that I don't use it very often because of this problem. If you have a place to dry it outside in a warm breeze or on a radiant heater, you can hang it up, that might suit you.

Although this has been marketed as an "Original" Turbie Twist, this is not entirely accurate. The original was 100% cotton terry and worked like a charm. It's microfiber, which I don't like. It doesn't work and I really don't like the feeling. Although my hands are far from rough, this fabric seems to "stick" to my hands like a little Velcro. It looks like my skin is rough enough to grab it. I loved my cotton turbi and will keep buying it. But it's not what I expected. I will not order this…

Have been using these towels for many years. I bought them for myself and as a gift. They are perfect after a shower. No more bulky, heavy towels on your head. What makes this brand different from other brands? Turbie Twist uses an elastic band to hold the end of the towel. It's easy to use. Every other brand I've seen uses a loop and button. It doesn't seem that easy to use. personal preference.

Seemingly unnecessary but my wife has 2 terry options, 2 microfiber. She has long hair and a towel on her head is disrupting the nerves in her neck/back - too much weight on her head triggers migraines. You are perfect. After washing her hair, she uses a towel to get out of the shower, then terrycloth, then microfiber. You don't have to do that, as I said, her hair is long and takes a long time to dry. They are comfortable, lightweight, yet absorbent. She keeps one set above and one set below…

I love this cotton terry twist. My hair is a little longer (mid back) for him, but I just fold the ends back and stuff and it works. I don't like microfiber.
