I am disappointed in my purchase. This UV lamp is cheaply made and turns itself off after a few minutes of use. Be careful and don't waste your money. My AC guy told me it may have been used and repackaged.

I don't know if that's any use, but it's easy to install and has a good durable power cord. I opted to use four plastic drywall anchors with smaller self-tapping screws instead of the supplied tape. When it's time to replace your lightbulbs, you'll understand why. Because the block has a good wide base, light and air don't escape.

Great seller very knowledgeable and responsive. The product was easy to install, just drill two holes and plug in. If in doubt, watch the video on YouTube. Works perfectly. Definitely recommended for mold, viruses, allergies. The peep hole makes it easy to see if it's working, and if the bulbs need replacing, the seller can provide them. THE BEST $100 SPENT THIS YEAR.

The lighting kit arrived as advertised and does not emit an ozone smell. It works out? I hope so and I seem to have fewer breathing problems. Hope this works as well as expected. The only thing that would be super cool is if it had a switch to turn it off when the fan is off. Noticed the light doesn't work even though the blue light is on. I was happy to find this for about $100. I bought one through my HVAC 5 years ago and paid over $500. The candles were irreplaceable. It has 2 bulbs that can be replaced. Very easy installation. It's hard to believe that a couple of UV lamps will actually kill mold spores, viruses, and bacteria, but after spending just $100 it seems worth a try. I've read that airlines and corporations put these lights on large Libras.

If you want this UV lamp to work 24/7, just connect it to 125V and it will work. On the other hand, if you want it to ONLY work when your HVAC fan is triggered to disperse warm or cold UV treated air, you'll need to hook it up through a current sensing device. That way your light doesn't wear out as quickly and the bulbs don't just burn up in your ducts doing nothing or processing the air going through your system. Fan on, UV lamp on. Took me 5 minutes to install above the stove where the air goes through a large duct and then is distributed to various ducts. I simply used the metal blade on my rotozip to cut the sheet metal, then the sheet metal screws quickly secured it and covered my uneven hole.
